About

As a Photographer and Artist, I like exploring the interesting visual world around me. The images you see here are about nature, beauty and the magical relationship between the camera lens and the human imagination. It is my desire to reflect and express the harmony found in natural textures and man-made structures. My greatest pleasure comes from working with the creative canvas that nature offers. The use of digital camera equipment to capture images and using innovative editing software, I am able to create and offer some unique works of art. Come and enjoy this journey with me. If you have any questions about any of my images, see my Contact page and most importantly, I thank you.

More About Ken

Ken Stanback has been in the Pacific Northwest for over 30 years, His love for photography started when he joined the military and drove cross country from Memphis to Whidbey Island. The camera that started it all was the Kodak Pocket Instamatic which he still have in his possession.

Ken’s work as a photographer explores his interests in the visual world around him. His photographs are about nature, beauty and the magical relationship between the camera lens and the human imagination.  His work reflects a clear desire to express the harmony found in natural textures and man-made structures.  Nature and light are the raw materials of his images, which are then shaped into a unique vision on canvas, fine art prints and new creative materials.
